The all flooded in yesterday. Our last one arrived at camp at 10:15 pm after a flight cancellation and lost baggage, but she arrived safely, now we’re just waiting on her luggage.
We had a great start to the week as the speaker challeged these kids right off the bat. He really called out the guys to be men who walk in boldness without fear. He challenged them to be Godly men and women, living the life as God intended it to be lived. It was a great evening.
We currently have 75 participants going out to 8 different locations. This is 75 young men and women who are following the Lord’s leading out to the field. We feel priviledged to have a part in sending these warriors out, in preparing them to go and engage in the battles, equipping them to do the work as they go out.
We also will be working with 6 interns this year here in the office. Two of them were FYM participants last year, two of them are former students in our ministry in Minnesota, one is our niece and the other is one who applied for FYM but decided to do the internship. These interns will be under our care and will be working in the office, they will be engaged in local ministry and Vicki and I will be meeting with them for bible study and prayer on a weekly basis. These will be our kids to disciple. We are excited about the opportunity and looking forward to what God is going to do in each of their lives.
