Breaking FREE!

Continuing on my topic of Spiritual Gifts, I have a visual picture for you.  My 11 year old son, Jeremy, asked me if he could have my 14 year old son, Josh, wrap him in Toliet Paper.  I told him, YES!  He was jumping up and down and ran to the bathroom to get the TP.  In just a matters of moments, he was wrapped completely up and could not see anything.  Jeremy being the high-energy boy that he is, broke free of the confinement in no time at all.

What a illustration for us.  When we give into Satan's attacks, he confines us quickly to the point we don't even realize what we are doing.  When we have given into temptation, we do not use our gifts that God has given to us in any way because we are put into bondage.  We can't see what is going on around us and we are not effective for God like we should be.  But God will set us free and give us pure joy if we are obedient to Him.  Being obedient to Him means using our gifts for Him and offering our bodies as a living sacrifice.  When we do that, God gives us pure joy in serving Him.

Don't let Satan wrap you up,  allow God to set you FREE!
