Two weeks ago we sent out 75 First Year Missionaries and recieved 6 interns in the office.  What a blessing it is to see kids who desire to serve God with thier lives.  The first reports coming back to us from the FYM’s are great.  If you go to this link you will see the updates that they are sending in.

This year every FYM and Intern has their own personal blog page.  It will be easy for you to keep up with their lives and what they are doing if you want to.  Just pick one at random and you will get a good idea of how God is working in thier lives.  They are growing personally and they are sharing Christ’s love with so many around them, from children (orphanges) to adults.

Our 6 interns are a great group.  I feel so blessed by God to have them here.  They are working so hard at learning how to do everything and do it right.  We are praying to have the opportunity to send out 500 participants next year.  Not so much for the number, but for the fact that this reperesents 500 changed lives and thousands of lives changed that they will come in contact with.  They have caught this vision and are working hard to let God use them to accomplish this.

My prayer for them this year is that they will allow God to use them in the way He wants to use them.  So many times we think that we have to be in jungles to be greatly used by God.  I want them to see that God wants them here is Gainesville, GA to help be a part of sending out so many kids all over the world and to KNOW that this is what God has called them to.  I want them to fall in love with God all over again.  I want them to have a great year, not just a fun year, but a year they will never forget because they grew in their faith.

It is so great to have daily contact with kids again and we are loving it.  Pray for us as we lead them.
