Two weeks ago, our Dominican Republic FYM Team was having some issues with the girls not getting along. Our DR Leaders asked for prayer as they lead this team and decide how to handle this problem. We have committed to praying for them over the past few weeks and God has heard our prayers. Each week, the participants send in a weekly evaluation to us and one of the questions this week was, “What did you enjoy most about this past week?” look at the responses:
“I enjoyed getting to know my team more. I enjoyed learning about the Body of the Christ and what that should look like manifested in our lives.”
“I really enjoyed hanging out with my team and getting to know more about them.”
“Hanging out with my team on Thursday afternoon and Friday evening.”
“This last week we spent a significant amount of time as a team, learning how to be a community. I really enjoyed having that time to get to know one another and to be friends. I learned a lot about other people and about ways that I can bless them.”
“spending time with the body and learning to function as one”
“I enjoyed how we became more of a family and spent “chill” time together”
“I don’t know if I had a specific thing that was my favorite. But this week I have enjoyed the unity
between the girls in my house this week. Things have changed, and definatly changed for the better.”
God continues to be at work in the FYM’s lives. Learning how to work through relationship issues is going to help them so much in life.
They’re not alone in their struggles and triumphs, that’s for sure! God is faithful, tho. What a blessing!
