Today was a special day at AIM. Today we celebrated Jumbo’s birthday. He is a native South African and has been in the states since September. In just one week he will be leaving us to go back to SA. We will deeply miss him and his wife. They have become my friends that I will always hold very special in my heart. They are true servants of the Lord.
They were here to get hands on training at AIM to take back to South Africa, in hopes to start a AIM base. The work they have started in Georgia has not been completely finished yet. They desire to come back and have applied for a new visa. Pray that God would work out the visa situation to bring Him glory. I desire to have them come back and I pray that my plans are God’s plans but at the same time, I pray that they would be where God wants them to be, where He can use them the most.
Thank-you, Jumbo and Carike for giving so much while you were here. What an example you have shown to all of us. You will be missed!
