Yesterday was long day of moving but everything is in the house and now the sorting.  God provided us with a beautiful day and a beautiful home.  Thanks for your prayers!

I wanted to share an update from Kenya FYM team written by Kaitlin Hammock.  It really touched my heart.

A few weeks ago, I came across a rehabilitation center for boys who have been living on the streets here in Kibera and Nairobi. One afternoon Alysha and I were sitting and praying together on some grass just near the building. A man named Pastor Chris came and introduced himself to us and invited us to come in and look around a bit. Our hearts hurt as we saw that there are 69 street boys who all live together in a large, empty building that has just one room for bunks and one room for everything else. The kids were dressed in rags and some looked like they needed a bit of medical attention. After leaving the center, Alysha and I have been thinking of ways that we can go back and minister to the boys there and let them know that they are not forgotten, by us OR by the Lord.

As it turned out, this past weekend, Joe, Jayla, and I were able to go back to the center with some folks from Toi Calvary (our church in Kibera). We desperately wanted them to know that the Lord loves them and indeed He has not forgotten about them. In fact, the opposite is true! He loves them each a great deal and has put individuals like us and Pastor Chris in their lives to remind them of His love. I even got to share a bit about my life and how God has taught me about His love that surpasses all understanding (Ephesians 4:19). After sharing some scripture with them, playing a game, and singing some songs, we gave the boys some mango slices, which they loved! It was a delightful treat for them just as it was a real joy for us to spend some time loving them in Jesus’ name. I thank God and praise Him for allowing us to minister to the boys at this home!
