The first day of the month is always an exciting day for me.
  Why?
  I get to put in new contacts.
  I have worn contacts for 25 years and my favorite part of wearing contacts is putting that fresh, clean new pair in my eyeballs.
  The new contacts feel so good.
  There is not a speck of dirt on them, the tiny holes that allow the oxygen into my eyes are not clogged and there are not any scratches or tears on them.

As I was putting that fresh pair in my eyes this morning I had the thought, each morning as I spend time with my Maker, Creator reading His Word, it should be as exciting as putting in my new pair of contacts.
  As I dig into His Word it should feel as good as putting in that new pair of contacts.
  There is no dirt in His Word it is pure, I need to allow it to saturate into my life and allow His Word to be my oxygen, my life, and His Word is without blemish or wrinkle.
  So if you are contact wearers, every morning as you put your contacts in, I hope you get excited about digging into His Word, I know I will.
