I slept great last night; I know your prayers are being answered.
  I went to bed at

8PM

England
time and woke up of
8AM
, which is
3AM
GA time.
I think I should be on the schedule here already.
  God is so good.

As a team we walked around
Salford
with a couple that works in about 10 schools and 5 churches.
They actually are allowed to go to the schools and teach about christianity, what an opportunity!
We had a lot of good connections today and a lot more needs were shown to us that you just have a hard time trying to decide where you should invest your time.

As we were walking today we saw many trucks that were beer trucks and what they do is just pull up on the side of the road and give out beer.
The truck says on the side, “Party on the go.”
People came from all over when the trucks showed up for the purpose of partying.

It is a beautiful place to come and visit, the architect is amazing.
  On first glance you t

hink that
England
is a great place to be.
Then you spend time here and you realize they look good on the outside but when you dig deeper you see the oppression.
As one team member said to me today, “You do not have to look far for self gratification; it is just there, all the time.”
Pray for our team here as they pave the way for other teams.
What they are doing here at this time is such a hard ministry, building relationship and finding connections, but it will set the tone for the future of the FYM ministry.

Ways to pray for me:

1.

I get to meet Henry tomorrow (Sunday), he is the Vicar of the

England
church and that is the church that the FYM’s work in while they are here.

2.

I have developed a blister on the bottom of my foot.
We walk everywhere we go and the blister is annoying.
Pray that it would go away.

3.

Pray that I would have listening ears, there is so much that I want to learn about and hear and the team has so much to tell me.

4.

Pray that I would speak the words that God would want me to speak.
That I would encourage them and love them, like Christ would love.

5.

Pray that I would put their needs before mine.
That my time here I would be the servant that God would want me to be.
I want my time here to a time of refreshing for them and for them to feel loved and cared about.

Each day I am going to introduce you to one team member and have you pray for them.
Today I want you to meet Hanna; she is from
Chicago
and is the base leader here in
England
.
She has so much responsibility on her shoulders.
Pray that God would give her wisdom and discernment in her decisions and that she would be renewed each day with His love.
Pray that God would continue to point her in directions that would be good connections to build this site.
We want to reach out to the people who so desperately need God and right now, it is all of this area.
There are so many needs that I know she feels that she is torn in so many directions.
So today through out the day, pray for Hanna.
She is on the right in the picture.
